Dawn Olivieri (born July, 1957) is an Auror with the Ministry of Magic and an alumna of Slytherin House. Dawn is ambitious and cunning, traits that Salazar Slytherin favored in members of his House. It should be noted that Dawn, while possessing a sense of superiority, does not consider blood purity to be an issue. She presents herself with an air of grace and sophistication at first glance and is very concerned with impressions. Beneath that, Dawn is friendly enough, if temperamental. She can be quite unpredictable, and while she is not revengeful she does hold grudges.

Through hard work and determination she was able to earn a coveted place in the Auror training program. Dawn is skilled in magical combat and excels in Stealth and Tracking. In June of 1994, following the escape of Sirius Black from Hogwarts, Dawn was sent abroad to search for the fugitive; she was stationed in France. In 1995 she returned to London.

Dawn’s wand is eleven inches in length, purple heart wood with a dragon heartstring core.
